Prayer Requests

Your prayer needs are very important to us.  “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

TVBC utilizes a Virtual Prayer Room, where you can submit prayer requests and our prayer intercessors will pray for you. You can submit your prayer requests here.

If you are interested in becoming a prayer intercessor for TVBC, please email

Funerals & Memorial Services

Funerals and memorial services are times for remembering, honoring, and celebrating loved ones who have passed away. Our pastoral staff is here to assist families during these difficult times by offering support, comfort, and help designing a meaningful funeral or memorial service.

Please call the church office at 254-939-0503 or click on the following link to submit a Funeral and Memorial Service Request Form.

Support & Recovery

The available resources vary from time to time. Please contact the TVBC church office to find what resources may be available.

Food Pantry

In cooperation with Capital Food Bank and TVBC member donations, we maintain the food pantry, which is run by our  volunteers. The TVBC Food Pantry was started in 1999 and continues to provide food four days each month.

  • 1st and 3rd Wednesday:  9:30 am to 11:30 am
Clients with last names beginning with M-Z
  • 2nd and 4th Wednesday:  9:30 am to 11:30 am
Clients with last names beginning with A-L
  • There is no food pantry on the 5th Wednesday of a month.

Clients must come in person and provide a photo ID. A family may receive food only twice per month. The number of family members is taken into consideration when provisions are given. We do not deliver food.

The food pantry is located behind Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church at the intersection of North 31st Street and FM 93.  Remain in your car, once you are in line.  You will be waited on in-turn.

The TVBC library has something for everyone including a large non-fiction section and a remarkable selection of Christian fiction. Our children and youth section is broad with many of the books coded for Accelerated Reading levels and points, making it a good source for your child’s school reading requirements.

We also have a wide selection of children’s DVDs and a nice section of adult videos. There are a number of Bible studies on DVD that are also available for you to check out.

Library Hours are Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 9:30 am and 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
